What illnesses should you be aware in the Fall.
Colds, Flu, Covid-19, RSV, Bronchitis, Strep and other Respiratory Ailments are common illnesses this time of year, as well as Allergies and Sinusitis.
Now let’s look at each one these as to what the cause may be
Allergies Mold spores and ragweed are some of the biggest culprits. Also dust mites from the summer months can get into the air when you first turn on the heat.
Sinusitis Irritants in the air, asthma, allergies, viral infections (such as the common cold or flu) and bacterial infections are culprits that worsen in cold weather.
Colds There are many varieties of viruses that can cause colds.
Flu, Covid-19 and RSV are respiratory viruses that affect your respiratory system.
Strep Tis bacterial infection can be caused by exposure to others that have strep, but they also can be caught from airborne droplets from a sneeze, cough, sharing drinks with an infected person.
So, with this said what is the most important things you should do.
- Eat Well, get the proper nutrient
- Get plenty of rest and the proper amount of sleep each night
- Drink plenty of fluids to boost your immune system
- Wash your hands often
- Do not share food and drinks with others.
